- Best season
The dry season is from December to April. The trade winds (east-north-east and east-south-east) blow from 10 to 20 knots. It is reasonably hot, small cumulus clouds are painted on a beautiful blue sky. And just a few quick squals for a bit of tropical rain. A Must: Xmas and New year's eve with beach barbecues and midnight swims under a tropical sky... From May to November comes the rainy season. The sun shines most of the time with some heavy rainfalls which last just a few minutes. The wind is weaker (8-12 knots) and the captain must pay attention to weather reports to track possible tropical depressions. More info
